I can't believe it's Thursday again already! This week has flown past so quickly. Liam is settling in well at Pre-School and I'm enjoying having 3 morning's a week to myself..even if it does feel a little strange being completely on my own at the moment.
- Liam is settling in really well at Pre-School. He is now going on the same days as Amy, 9am-1pm on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, and he seems to be really enjoying himself there and having a lot of fun. He has made a little friend, another little boy around his age, and they play nicely together with the toys. His speech is steadily improving and I think Pre-School is helping with that too.
- It's been snowing! The practical side of me tells me that it's not a good thing, it'll be freezing, icy and impossible to push a buggy through but the other side of me wants to scream "SNOW!" at the top of its voice! I'm very excited for the kids too, Amy and Liam are both fascinated by it and could spend hours playing in it if I let them.
- Wedding preparations are progressing. My old next door neighbour (my Parent's neighbour) has said she's happy to do the flowers for mine and Aaron's wedding which is great. My Mum and I are going with her to her whole-saler a bit later in the year so we can help choose the flowers. My Mum and I also went into town last Friday while the kids were at Pre-School and found a gorgeous cardigan for Amy to wear with her pretty dress and a pair of lovely wedding shoes for me. I settled on pumps in the end..I have't worn heels for a long time and I don't want to be tripping over or feeling uncomfortable in them. Plus, who's going to see my shoes under my wedding dress?? They're much more practical, especially with two children to chase after all day! Also, I'm going for my first wedding dress fitting this Saturday!!

Exciting wedding news!! And funnily enough it is snowing as I type this comment.......SNOW!!!! xx

DeleteI loved planning our wedding! I wore heels up to our first dance then changed them for pumps. Wish I had worn pumps all day as they were so much more comfortable! I've got my little boy signed up for pre-school to but doens't start till end of Feb, glad your son is enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Hope your son enjoys pre-school when he starts xx
DeleteI remember when my son started preschool - i felt so 'naked' leaving him at preschool and not having his hand to hold or the buggy to push. I've been feeling excited about the snow too. So glad your wedding plans are coming together. have a good week and enjoy the snow xxx
