Me (and Aaron behind me) at Rock-A-Koke on Tuesday

1. Aaron and I went out! That sounds silly doesn't it, but we don't get to go out very often without the children. My Parents kindly babysat the kids Tuesday night so we (and Aaron's little Sister Rosie) could go to the Nitrous Sounds Launch Party & Rock-A-Koke. Nitrous Sounds are a new DJ/KJ business set up and run by some good friends of Aaron. It was a brilliant night, lots of fun! And I bumped into some people I haven't seen in years!
2. I have some 'me-time' each week. Both my children are now at Pre-School Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9am-1pm and, although I find I'm a bit upset and lost without them, I am enjoying having some time to myself again. Some days I simply do my housework, read my book and catch up on a couple of programmes I've missed but other days I go for a run, pop into town, go to the cafe with my Mum and pretty much whatever else I fancy doing within those few hours. It's great to have some time to myself again and I'm incredibly grateful for it.
3. Today is my Mother-in-Law Michelle's Birthday! Happy Birthday!!! Wishing her a wonderful day xxx
